Five minutes later we were seated outside by ourselves in the fresh air. After we were all checked in I went up to the podium and requested a table outside on the terrace, and since no one was actually sitting out there (which I found shocking!), I was told it would be no problem. We arrived about 15 minutes early and completed mobile check-in from the My Disney Experience app. I made a 2pm reservation so that we would get a break from the heat/humidity and our masks at the hottest part of the day.

The main factor going for it – it’s the only table service restaurant in Magic Kingdom with outdoor seating – an absolute must for our family right now. But, the current COVID situation prompted us to finally give Tony’s a try. While I remember visiting as a teen, we haven’t been in 20 years, mostly due to the subpar reviews I’ve seen online and the fact that there are plenty of other places to eat at Magic Kingdom. This turn-of-the-century trattoria features hearty Italian meals and a cute Lady and the Tramp theme. One of the oldest restaurants at Magic Kingdom, Tony’s Town Square, is located near the train station on Main Street.
